Dear Practitioners,

CDE is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Multilingual Learners: A Collaborative Approach to Success Conference.

  • When: Monday, June 2nd and Tuesday, June 3rd , 2025 (2 days!)
  • Where: Southwest Studies Center, Fort Lewis College, Durango, CO
  • No cost!
  • 12 hours of recertification credit!

This year's conference is a special collaboration between Fort Lewis College, Colorado Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (CoTESOL), and the CDE. This two-day event is designed for Special Education Teachers, Special Service Providers, English Language Development Teachers, and Administrators.   MLACAS is an excellent opportunity to share and discuss resources and strategies to ensure that MLs receive high-quality special education services that meet their unique needs. This conference is a great opportunity for educators who work with MLs and Indigenous students, and CDE is excited to offer certificates for 6.0 Special Education and Behavioral Health and 6.0 EL PD recertification hours for all who attend both days and complete an action plan. Slots will be limited, so please register early.
