PRESENTER: Mitzi Swiatkowski, Federal Programs LOCATION: East Central BOCES West Training Room DESCRIPTION: Join us for a training and planning session for Perkins Business Marketing CTE Teachers on Wednesday, February 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the EC BOCES West Training Room. We'll be discussing and finalizing grant activities for the 2024-25 year, planning for 2025-26, and considering preparation at the district level for the local and regional needs assessment scheduled for September 2025. Chris Pacis, Course Consultant from Stukent, Inc., will also be present to share information about educational resources from the company. Lunch will be provided so please register if you plan to attend.

PRESENTER: Jodi Church, Gifted & Talented Regional Coordinator LOCATION: Over Zoom DESCRIPTION: This is for ALL Educators! Twice Exceptional (2e) students are those who are identified as gifted and who are on an IEP or 504 plan. These two sessions will be hosted by the CDE Twice Exceptional Team. The consultants will focus on what it means to be 2e: definition, characteristics, strengths, and how to identify and serve these students. Register at ecboces.org.
