PRESENTER: Callie Burgess, JoDee Ellis, Kyle Pocock LOCATION: East Central BOCES West Training Room DESCRIPTION: Verbal Intervention/Verbal De-escalation training prepares staff to identify, respond to and prevent low-risk crisis behavior with non-restrictive intervention techniques. This class is targeted towards school staff that are looking to prevent crisis behaviors without going hands-on. There will not be instruction on restrictive interventions during this class. We estimate the in-person class will take approximately 2 hours.
